2 Input / 6 Output Audio Splitter Description
Housed in a 1RU enclosure, this excellent design incorporates two inputs and six outputs. All inputs and outputs consist of a balanced 3 pin XLR and dual RCA sockets. Both input and output XLR’s can be switch selected for either balanced microphone or balanced line levels. Each input can be selected either on or off to any output via the front panel DIP switches. Level controls are provided for both inputs and all outputs. Individual LED VU meters are provided for each input. The versatility of the design allows for both inputs to accept either microphone, balanced line or auxiliary source signals to be fed to any output at either microphone, balanced line or auxiliary level. This allows great flexibility to the system designer. Ideal for routing common signals to six different zones or outputs in large installations, or for recording applications such as media press conferences and courtrooms. The system can also be powered from 24V DC in battery backup situations.
