Biema Balanced Signal Splitter / Distributor Description
A compact 1U distribution unit which can be configured for either 2 inputs, each to 4 outputs or 1 input to 8 outputs. All inputs and outputs are low level balanced suitable for microphone use. Each
input is provided with a direct output link enabling several units to be “daisy-chained” together to provide additional outputs. Each output has a front panel mounted volume control. Indicators are
provided for signal presence and mode of operation eg: 2 into 4 out or 1 into 8 out.
The design enables a single input source to be fed to multiple amplifiers. Ideal for use in large PA systems such as sporting venues, shopping centres, airports and the like. Another application would be for recording purposes ie. press conferences or courtrooms.
