Di Box With Equaliser Description
Direct Injection (DI) boxes are used to convert high impedance unbalanced devices like guitar pick ups to a low level balanced output. This is done to allow signals to be fed over long distances without hum and noise pick up. This model can be powered from either an external 12V DC source, a 9V battery, or powered directly by the equipment it is connected to ie: Phantom powered. This DI box has inbuilt EQ or tone controls plus an overall level control. Two 6.35mm stereo connectors are provided for the input and a single 3 pin XLR for the output. An earth lift switch is provided to help eliminate earth loops. Optional rack mount kit available.
