Easy peazy Review by wapfunz
Product Rating Service Easy, fast assembly. What more can you ask for. Everything is there to make a power supply, you just need the soldering iron. Wonderful - well worth the money (Posted on 14/03/12)

Easy build Review by Will
Product Rating A great power supply project for the guitar player. You get 25v DC bipolar supply for the amp kit, and a bonus 15v DC bipolar outlet to run a preamp or a valve over drive circuit in the amp. With a few voltage regulator, fixed or variable, you could make a very useful bench supply. I put mine in the case with the companion amp kit and ran the 15v out through a 9v regulator to power my effects and pedals with a daisy chain. Don't let on to Volt Electronics that this power supply is that good. What are you paying for your regulated pedal power wall wart. Build your own with this. Buy two and the amp kit, and you would still be ahead. Great kit Thanks Volt Electronics. Oh...excellent, easy to solder board, top qulity components and BIG capacitors. What more could you want? Great intro to mains powered kits! Review by Will
Product Rating This is a great kit. Every thing about it is big. The heat sink is impressive as are the capacitors in the power supply. Instructions are clear and easy to follow and the top quality board makes for easy soldering and quick build. This would be a good introduction to using a mains supply with the companion power supply kit. Build the amp and power it with a plug pack to get it working and debugged, and then, add the power board. With some supervision and guidance, someone with intermediate skills could build this. All the thinking has been done for you. All the warnings associated with working with mains supply have to be heeded, but this kit is a winner to build. Oh, it sounds great with a guitar athrough a 12" speaker. And yes it is plenty loud enough. (Posted on 8/02/11)
